My blog started 7 years ago.

Wow.

Quite frankly I didn't think I'd keep up with it that long.

Lots of stuff happened since I started this - jobs came and went, my marriage went, my little boy grew into a hulking teenager, that sort of thing.

Through it all I had you guys, my LJ friends, cheering me on, or up, as needed. I thank you all for that.

I know Facebook as sort of taken over the Internet World, but I still love LJ for it is a place I can vent or brag, philosophise, attempt a humourous bit of writing, whatever.

So thanks LJ and all my LJ friends, for being with me for the last 7 years.

Yay! 7 years is definitely a long time to be here. And I hate Facebook and still remain devoted to LJ, so now more than ever I prize those other people who are like me. :)
