I know some of you watch Psych on the USA channel. All I can say is...bwh?

NOT an ending I expected from that show. I literally gasped when Henry got shot. Charlie even ran into the room to find out what I was gasping about.

Even with the 'Henry decides to retire' trope dangling at me, I didn't expect that.

I think actually having Henry die might change Shawn too much; losing your parent like that would be seriously traumatic, so I am willing to bet Henry isn't dead, although the fact that he and Shawn have this lovely moment where Shawn was able to tell his father he did respect him, and they were going to go have a beer, as equals and all that, makes me wonder.

But no...they can't do that.

Can they?

Ug. I hate cliffhangers.

I mentioned this on another post that I think Henry had a feeling that Jerry was in on it too. I mean, Lou and Jack were. I think he retired in case whatever he did wouldn't reflect on the department. Also, I think he gave Shawn his Swiss Army knife just in case. Tying in with the theory he was expecting something, in my mind Henry was wearing a vest.

There, I've said it. That is what I will hold onto until the fall. The reasoning may be a bit off, but dammit, he is wearing a vest.

They really did set it up enough to make us worried, though. The retiring, the conversation with Shawn, the knife...

But no. vest. Yes. I think you're right.
