Gonna be in England in just 8 more days! WooT! Cannot wait!

I was rereading my journal from 4 years ago, and back then I was talking frequently about my wish to go to England and take Charlie with me, and now it's actually happening. With the bonus of having a wonderful husband to go with as well. Hard to believe sometimes.

We have a pretty awesome schedule planned. I'm sure I mentioned it before, but we're going to see Richard III at the Globe. With an all male cast, which is just cool. And there's this 'talkback' thing we're going to before hand. I'm still trying to think of a question where I can oh-so-casually work into the conversation that I played Lady Anne. Something like, 'when I played Lady Anne, I noticed...' I can't think of a good question though, honestly. Probably something will come to me, but all I can think of is silly things.

And we're going to Bath on that Tuesday, which will be awesome. I shall be thinking of Northanger Abbey a lot while there, probably.

And Charlie and I will be in Brighton on that Sunday.

And we're going to Greenwich on the 2nd Friday.

And our hotel is right near Hyde Park.

I'm excited. Can you tell?

I know London is going to be hellish with all the tourists there for the Olympics, but it will be worth it.

And yes, I tend to consider myself not one of 'them', even though I totally am. Because I am a dork.

(Her mother and aunt are both British and own a condo in Brighton, and A visits every summer for a couple of weeks!)
