*Kermit Flail* Yaaaaayyyyeeeeee! We're leaving for England in just a few hours! Charlie is very excited.

You guys, I can't believe how lucky I am. 4 years ago I was talking on this very journal about how I wish I could take Charlie to England, and now I am. It's such a dream come true. And, as an extra bonus, I have a fabulous husband who's taking us.

Charlie and I went to his high school yesterday for an initial IEP meeting, and to get his schedule coordinated. I'm no longer too anxious that Charlie won't get the help/care he needs because this school is amazing. They are putting all kinds of things in place so he will have the best education, and survive a much, much bigger school.

He's excited too, because there is a 'game design club' which is something he's been interested in for ages. He just lit up when he saw that.

Funny thing, too. The General Ed teacher who sat in on the meeting is a Chemistry teacher, and I told him how good Charlie is with the periodic table. I said to Charlie, 'what's number 32?' and the teacher said 'sulfur.'

Charlie said, 'no that's 16. 32 is Germanium'. The teacher looked thoughtful a moment, then said, 'oh, that's right.' I thought that was pretty funny.

I got my Pennsylvania tag for my car, so I'm 100% no longer a Jersey Girl. Although I always will be, in my heart.

I probably won't be on line until we get back. I'm not bringing my computer or anything, so I'll catch up with you all in a week and 1/2.
