Sheesh. The only comments I see nowadays are weird spam that pops up on years old posts. They're like cockroaches that come out after a place has been abandoned.

Anyway...it's New Year's Eve Eve, and I just felt like posting an update, and to just say hello to whomever is still reading this thing. Hello.

Been a good year, I must say. Best in a long while. Being able to go to the UK with the two people I love most in the world was fantastic. It was a goal I'd stated on this blog, years ago, that I wanted to be able to take Charlie to England, and thanks to Dave the Husband, I did.

Getting remarried was pretty awesome, too.

I feel a bit like I've finally landed, and I'm now where I am supposed to be. It's a good feeling.

One thing I wish for the new year, though, is that no one predicts the end of the world. I don't think Charlie could take another one.

I hope everyone has a fun New Year's tomorrow and Tuesday. Hope to talk to you all more in 2013.

Happy New Year to you, too! Glad your year has been so good. I have to agree, LJ has become horribly quiet, if not for Comms I would have very few updates to look at scrolling through my FL, whereas a year or two ago there'd be loads to read. I know I should post more, too, but it haI worry there will be no one around to read it!
