But Fuck you, Bush. Just bite me.*

Why are people still supporting this man? We've been at war with a country for, what, 3 years now, that had nothing to do with the terrorist attacks, and the people that did do the terrorist attacks still seem to be going strong and are continuing to threaten us.

Seriously. What the fuck? Why aren't we more outraged? What the hell? Where are all the hippies from the sixties? Come on, you can't have lost all your passion during the yuppie 80's. Rise from your active adult communities. Sing we shall overcome, anything. My generation was too apathetic to do anything on our own, but, hey we watched The Big Chill, we get it; with you to lead us, maybe we can do something.

I was watching M*A*S*H reruns today and I wonder where that whole anti-war feeling went. Why are people still trying to pretend it's a good thing? Why is it still being justified?

Wow. It really does.

But then again, Bush's presidency is pasted on yey.

Refusing to comment on actual political content, as it'd get me too riled up right now. Grrrr.

I thought that whole photo looked very Photoshopped.

As for the outrage ... I have it, and usually try to ignore it so it doesn't eat me from the inside. I have no clue why so many other people don't have it. *sigh*

I think a lot of people are outraged, and I know there are protests regularly in Columbus, but they don't get covered by the news media. I think it's just suppressed. There are a lot of good people out there but we just don't hear about them.

I think all the hippies of the 60s learned they can't live without money, so they got greedy.

The simple truth is that Bushy-boy lets people keep more of their paycheck. Everyone knows that their own PERSONAL pocketbook is more important than the silly old planet.

But why does it have to be that way? Why do working folks have to choose between paying their bills or living on a clean planet? Why do people have to go along with the rich who are robbing the world in order to make a decent salary? Why is it a choice between a few good jobs or many bad ones?

Think of the greedy taking advantage of the desperate (or those who think they are desperate), and you have why people are supporting that idiot.

Or it could be merely the media slanting things to make it look like the majority supports W.

"It's the Big W, I tell ya, our rights are buried right thar unda' the Big W."

I wish the preceding statement was actually funny.

And the picture is totally photoshopped.

i've been looking for an excuse to use this icon :D

I, too, fail to see why anyone would want to support Bush and his damned war. It's done nothing for anyone thus far. except, oh yeah, give the iraqi people their freedom and the wonder of democracy We're killing off our volunteer military and they've got suicide bombers flocking out of the woodwork, err... stonework.

But at least America is safe! God bless America and damn everyone else!

Possibly people aren't protesting because any protest against the government can be considered, under the Patriot Act, to be a terrorist action.

And your rights, if you are arrested, are not guaranteed.

And there's nothing you can do. The media--which is basically owned by large corporations and the families that run those corporations--refuses to report the violations of civil rights and the right to protest. The media is not interested in reporting such stories, so people don't learn what's happening.

Yeah, I'm more than slightly disgusted.

I feel like America has been taken over by a body snatcher. (It's the best explanation I can think of for the pod in the Oval Office.)

He said that the community of Brook Park "suffered mightily over the last couple of days."

"I hope they can take comfort in the fact that millions of their fellow citizens pray for them," he said.

Bush can kiss my ass. I live right next to the city of Brookpark & this has hit hard.

What really scares me is the report I saw tonight that said the weaopns being used to kill our troops are most likely coming from Iran. And the Iranian government must be approving this. I have this sick feeling in my gut that he is going to try to use this to justify attacking Iran next.

Oh, they've been itching for a reason to attack Iran for years. They still haven't gotten over the Hostage Crisis. They'll use any means to justify it. They've lied to us about weapons before, why not now?
