Highlander Movie and other silly television things

Apparently they have finished casting For the next Highlander movie.

I would possibly rent my soul to the devil to be the one female in that cast. Because they are going for the hotties. And Methos is in it, which is swell.

I'm a bit miffed at the Logo Channel. A whole day of Xena, but it doesn't seem to be on their regular line up. *Frowny face*. I want Xena. I miss that show. It was fun. I need fun.

It's a good channel. I think it will be better as they get more original programming - they tend to be replaying the same few movies over and over again, and I'm not quite sure why Wonderfalls is on the line up and Xena isn't, but there are a few shows I'm already addicted to, like 'First Came Love' wherein Scott Thompson and his 'crew' help wedding dreams come true for various same sex couples. I love those kinds of shows, they people get these fairy (hee) tale weddings, and I always wind up crying at the sentimentality of it all.

Adrian Paul was so hot as Highlander. Dang! I really liked that show. I catch reruns of it now and then on Spike or TNT or Scifi. I live for the swordfighting scenes of yesteryear when the guys are all dressed in kilts. Because I'm a pervert, just in case you missed it. ;-)

Right there with you. My friend thinks I'm weird that I hate any movies with gunplay in it but sword fighting I'm cool about. (with the exception of many parts of Braveheart because...ew) At least with swords there's a sense of fair play. You can't hide behind a tree and kill someone with a sword like you can with a gun.

Did you know that there is an episode of Highlander where, if you watch very carefully, you get a brief glimpse of Adrian's bare bum.
