I was watching this show last night called Freddie, starring Mr Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Junior and the guy who was David on Beverly Hills 90210. On the Comcast Digital Cable description, it said that Freddie took his niece to see a 'horror musical', and, whatever, hilarity ensued, it's a sitcom. Turns out, what they meant by 'horror musical' was 'Rocky Horror Picture Show'.

Well, I was a regular Frankie fan back in the day, and I was pleased to see it still has a sort of shelf-life, even if it is being regulated to Halloween themed 30 minute sitcoms.

So...

[Poll #599635]

I so need a Rocky Horror icon.

I like it, but as for "best cult movie of all time," I'm not so sure. I always get kind of bored with it about halfway through.

I was first introduced to Rocky Horror by one of my classmates in high school drama class, who would come in every morning of our sophomore year, and start singing "Time Warp". He had to explain it to me. I wanted to see it after that, but my parents weren't about to let me go to a midnight showing of anything, and none of my friends were interested at the time, so I didn't go. I finally saw the film on video in a classroom in London in 1986, when we watched on the final day of a Theatre in London class, just for fun. I've since seen it a couple more times, mainly for the lusciousness that is Tim Curry. I've still never gone to a midnight showing where they do the whole ritual. Maybe someday, when I'm older and need a bit of a thrill!

At the theatre across from school here they show it every Saturday night at midnight!

I watched "Freddie" last night, too! Brian Austin Green made a scarily accurate whatsisname.

I went to see it one Halloween, but for some reason we didn't go in. It was fun hanging out with all the people in line who were dressed up.

They showed it on VH1ad nauseum a few years back. I mean, months at a time it was on every day, and I tried watching it. I even tried renting it more than once, but didn't get into it. It's definitely a movie that is better with the crazy movie theater crowd.

I don't think they do the midnight showing of it here anymore. I would like to try it sometime but I have the kind of sadistic friends who would call me out as a virgin, and I would absolutely die.

I don't think I've ever seen that movie as an adult. It creeped me out when I was a kid and caught portions of it on TV. I don't even know what it's about!

I boycott this movie. Only because I worked for Halloween Adventure, and I used to hear the damned soundtrack every day, all day long.

And, btw, Brian Austin Green looked great in the costume. I heart him.

that sitcom sounds like the sum of things I can't stand strongly dislike (excluding Rocky Horror).
It's annoying when the jokes on something I like
