I was watching this show last night called Freddie, starring Mr Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Junior and the guy who was David on Beverly Hills 90210. On the Comcast Digital Cable description, it said that Freddie took his niece to see a 'horror musical', and, whatever, hilarity ensued, it's a sitcom. Turns out, what they meant by 'horror musical' was 'Rocky Horror Picture Show'.
Well, I was a regular Frankie fan back in the day, and I was pleased to see it still has a sort of shelf-life, even if it is being regulated to Halloween themed 30 minute sitcoms.
So...

I so need a Rocky Horror icon.

on 2005-10-27 09:43 pm (UTC)I went to see it one Halloween, but for some reason we didn't go in. It was fun hanging out with all the people in line who were dressed up.
They showed it on VH1ad nauseum a few years back. I mean, months at a time it was on every day, and I tried watching it. I even tried renting it more than once, but didn't get into it. It's definitely a movie that is better with the crazy movie theater crowd.
I don't think they do the midnight showing of it here anymore. I would like to try it sometime but I have the kind of sadistic friends who would call me out as a virgin, and I would absolutely die.

on 2005-10-28 11:05 am (UTC)Rocky Horror should not be seen on TV. It isn't meant to be watched, it's meant to be experienced.
