Firstly, a very happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] october31st!

You know on the 'Dayquil' commercials they say that it helps you stay alert to get you through your day? Well, it's a big fat lie. Sure, I can breathe a bit and all, but I feel like I'm looking at the world though a veil or something. Doesn't help I took the Niquil which knocked me right out until 3am, when I was wide awake. I'm glad I took today off, at least I had a few hours of lazing on my comfy chair and watching haunted house stuff on the Discovery Channel.

In good news, I was quoted twice on ljdq, the weekly quiz thing. Go me.

Gearing up for the Trick-or-Treating thing. In my town it is scheduled from 2-6; at least that's when the stores in town are giving out candy. This upset some people I know, since they are not home. This is why I take the day off.

Charlie is so excited that his baby sitter is going to come watch his parade. He even wrote a note to give to his teacher that says "Kate is coming to see the parade". I called her to let her know, and make sure she can still come, because that would be sad, else.

Hope everyone has a nice Halloween!

Feel better soon! DayQuil does the same thing to me, makes me feel foggy and groggy. "Alert" my ass.

I can't take DayQuil, actifed, sudafed, or any of those things, during the day. Even if they're the "daytime" formula, I feel completely zoned out. Really sucks when you're at work and your only options are "foggy" or "wish you were dead".

I'm excited for trick or treating tonight. Vivi is the damn cutest little cowgirl. We got her boots at Western Warehouse yesterday and the kid hasn't taken them off yet.

My friend who lives in Irvington, AL says that they've banned trick or treating down there. Bummer.

Trick or treating from 2 - 6? That's crazy, how do the parents who work take their kids out? Ours goes from 6 - 8pm, and it's ten after five now, so I better get my ass in gear and get those kids dolled up! Bye!

Collingswood always gives out the BEST candy. Like, real bars. None of that snack sized stuff.

My mom's was 3-5. Can you believe that?? But, they also dont get many treaters at all. I didnt get any.

Thank goodness, since we ate all the candy ourselves.
