Apparently someone who was George W's friend recorded ol' George talking years before he was ever elected president. He's talking about his drug use. As much as I can't stand the man, I don't care that he did drugs once, and I actually agreed with him about not answering the questions about that. It is, in my opinion, irrelevent. (although pot smoking in his youth would explain his total lack of brain cells today.)

He also said on the tape he would not "kick gays, because I'm a sinner. How can I differentiate sin?" (he was speaking to some evengelical person). My father insists that this is still the case, as 'he, George Bush, hires gay people'. Can anyone confirm that for me? Are there any openly gay people in the cabinet or in some kind of government position? Cause I'm thinking no, but I didn't feel like arguing with my father who, though I love him dearly, is a bit of a dinasaur when it comes to certain subjects.

I'd enjoy that quote more if I actually thought it would make Bush rethink his whole marriage stand, or at least opened more eyes to his absolute hyprocracy, but I am not holding my breath.

Speaking of gay marriage, did anyone see the Simpsons last night? Funny.

And let's now have a moment of silence for Hunter S. Thompson. I really enjoyed his writing, and I'm saddened that he felt the need to end his life.

And Sandra Dee died as well. She was the original Gidget. Actually, that's not true, there was a real Gidget; her father wrote a book about surfing culture, or something, and used his daughter and her friends as examples, and from that Sandra Dee's Gidget was born.

Right. Back to work.
