I ordered HP&THBP from Amazon.co.uk because I wanted the British version, and today I got an automated email that has to be the coolest non-personal email ever )

I mean, how cool is that? They use the term delivery owls! And mention You-Know-Who! And cut the price! (I have no idea how much £8.99 is in American money - will have to find a conversion table and see if I'm saving any money at all.)

And since I didn't order the American book, I have no idea if the American Amazon is as cool. It might be. But I doubt it.

And I have boring weekend things I will share with you all at a later date. Right now I am trying to simultanously catch up with a weekend's worth of LJ and also do some actual work.

ETA: If anyone cares, the £8.99 comes to about $16.99 USD Which is not a bad price.

Take the MIT Weblog Survey

Just because I like to follow the crowd.

So...weekend...completely irrelevant details about my life, ignore if you wish to )

At any rate, I highly recommend Betwitched.

ETA: You don't know the history of psychiatry. I do," Cruise said.

Tom? You got famous for dancing in your undies in a 1980's teen sex romp. You're a decent actor. But you're an idiot. So Shut. Up.

That is all

Logo Channel, the first non-pay-per-view channel devoted to the homosexual lifestyle, is coming June 30th to a Blue State near you.*

*That was be being facetious. I'm just guessing that among the places this channel might not be offered would be places like Tenneessee and Florida.

Yesterday morning I was making Charlie eggs, and I asked if he wanted them scrambled or 'sunny-side up'. He said sunny-side up, and then a few minutes later added, 'and can I have six fries?'

"Six fries?" I said, thinking that seemed a rather specific request. "Why?"

"Because I want to make a sun."

(I didn't have fries, but I cut up a piece of bread into six small slices, and he made a sun using the bread. I did take a picture and I will post it as soon as I can.)

There's a jazzy/easy listening version of the song Tequila on the radio just now. It is seriously the most twisted musical arrangement I've ever heard.

It sounds like something that would be played in a waiting room in Hell.

I'm jus saying...

The Comcast thing came, and after much swearing we got everything to work. So I have a phone now and the lovely, fast broadband. I'm so totally in the 21st century, yo.

So, I promised the photo of the Sunny eggs, and here it is:

And I ought to go to bed now. I'm just so happy to have my computer back.
