Happy "Really Is" Day
Oct. 30th, 2005 07:04 amMy mother always calls the day after Daylight Savings Time (or, as in the case, the ending of it) "Really Is" Day, because people will say things like, "It is 7am, but it really is 8am."
This morning, I knew Charlie was awake because he was in his room singing "I Write the Songs",* and I was thinking (while laughing) that I hope I can give him the kind of life where he always wakes up singing.
*Because it is on his electronic piano, not because we're secretly Barry Mannilow fans or anything.
