Oops, I did it again
Oct. 27th, 2006 08:11 pmI changed my layout. I just get so bored. I wish I were more clever about this sort of thing. I was also bored of purple. And I wanted something where I could find my tag list. And I like the 'expressive' layout, but I wasn't crazy about any of the pictures they had. I don't want kitty-cats or butterflys, thank you. And the cityscapes sort of gave me a headache.
Anyway...in television news, because we all know this is of paramount importance, I've gotten into the show Heroes. It's quite good, and the first non-British show I've watched in awhile.
Well, not true. I did watch Lost. I've come to the conclusion that I really, really don't like the Others. Not because they are Teh Evil, but because they are BORING. I liked the island when it was more mystical, not a bunch of renegade psychologists on the loose, or whatever. The third episode ROCKED because it focused on Locke and polar bears and psysic things. This last episode had more of the Others, and I was much more 'meh.' But Desmond? Still hot.
Did I mention I'm doing another play reading? It's going to be on Halloween, and it is a play about Edgar Allen Poe. I will be playing various female historical figures or something. There's one rehersal on Monday, and apparently there will be directors there, er, directing, so that's cool. Maybe I'll get my foot in the door with someone and do an actual play.
Charlie thinks Twiggy is cute. She's another of the guests on the 1st season of the Muppet Show. She's apparently replaced Connie Stephens in his affections. He likes blondes, it seems.
Well, since I haven't said anything here that warrents a response, and I'm feeling lonely and want to see that my post has gotten a reply I shall ask a question...
Have you ever read any Edgar Allen Poe, and if so do you like him? Why or why not?
Bonus question...What's your favorite/least favorite story?
