Secret, Black and Midnight Hags

Today I went on a road trip with my friends, Kim and Dina, and we went into about 4 million fabric stores on 4th street in Philly looking for material with which to make Ren Fair bodices. That Kim is going to make, as I have zero talent in that area. Kim, however, is one of the most talented people I've ever met. Very creative. With Dina running a close second, I must say. Plus they are both amazingly smart, so it is fun to hang with them. We were the three witches together, in case you're wondering about my subject line.

I also bought a new Tarot deck. I've been wanting to get back into that for awhile now, and i really needed a new deck, so hurrah. I got the Robin Wood deck. It's really pretty, and yet still fairly simple to understand. Some of them are so artistic you can barely tell which card is which.

I did get some really pretty material, purple and gold. It was good fun. We were lucky the weather cooperated with us. We were going to cancel our trip, but it started clearing up so we took the chance. I'm glad we did. We ate at this yummy Middle East resturant, and really had a lovely time.
