Fake Simon Cowell Loves Me
Mar. 30th, 2009 08:15 amI weakened over the weekend and bought American Idol (Encore2!) for the Wii.
I've been wanting it for awhile; I enjoy the heck out of the High School Musical Sing It game, but there's only so many times one can sing 'Stick to the Status Quo', and AI had some more, let's say 'grown up' songs*.
While it is not nearly as cool as Playstation's Singstar, it has similar games, and my two friends and I rocked out on Saturday night. Trish won.
Charlie was with his Dad, so Sunday morning I grabbed my coffee, turned on the telly, and played American Idol.
All morning.
At one point I thought to myself, 'I should go to the grocery store before rehearsal at noon.'
'Sod that,' said my inner rock star. 'We're in the Semi-Finals!'
It's almost embarassing how much fun it is to have Computer Simon say you are awesome. Real Simon would laugh me out of the room, but Computer Simon thinks I'm talented.
*I discovered I really like this song called Seven Nation Army. I have no idea who sings it though.
