Cute Charlie Story

charliesmumOur neighbors were having a garage sale this morning. I bought a Simpsons Trivia game for $2, and a Homer Simpson Award for Outstanding Achievement iN Excellence, because Charlie liked it and it made me laugh.
Then, later, when we'd gotten back from the baseball game, the sale was still going on, and Charlie asked me for $2 because apparently he'd seen something he wanted. I pointed him in the direction of his piggy bank, where he got out the money and trotted outside, then came back a few minutes later with this egg timer that had dragons on it. They only charged him a dollar, even though he pointed out that it said $2 on it. Then he said to me he wanted to go get one more thing, and got out $3 from his bank and trotted outside again.
This is where it gets cute.
I follow him out, curious to see what he wanted, and he'd bought a purse. For me.
Tell me that's not Disney cute.
In other news, I found the perfect dress to wear as Olivia next weekend. It is a never worn, black taffeta bridesmaid gown with a train, and it cost $5. Pretty cool, huh?
