Just a couple of things I felt like sharing. Spoilers for the latest episodes of Heroes and House.

I'm so glad they moved forward with Nikki's storyline. It was getting so annoying. And were we supposed to be surprised when it was revealed that 'the woman' who framed DL was Evil Nikki? Because I pretty much guessed that right away, and I'm not normally good at that sort of thing.

I can't figure out if Nikki is supposed to be evil or what. I assume she'd be part of the hero group, simply because she's a main character, but Nikki has no powers and Evil Nikki is, well, evil, so what's the point? Any theories?

I love DL. Just by the way.

I'm wondering if DL knew that Nikki didn't steal the money, and confronted her like that simply to get Evil Nikki out. Because prior to that scene Micha said 'mom has a secret, too.'

Hiro was awesome, as usual. I like the way his caracter is evolving. The fact that he was sad he couldn't help the people is a step towards him leaving behind goofy (but lovable) Hiro and turning into sword-carrying Hiro. (and how cute was his face when he learned Future Hiro had a sword?)

I don't think Claire's dad is evil. I could be wrong, but I don't get that he's the full on bad guy. I guess we'll wait and see. I was surprised at the reveal the bio-parents weren't actually them. Was not surprised at all that pixie girl was working for him. I figured she was some sort of spy/traitor all along.

And now, House. Cameron being all snarky is disconcerting. I liked it, but for me I can't help but think she's doing it just so House will like her.

Loved the twist about the nurse in the end. Foreman played House, and it was fun.

Insest thing - weird.

Not sure how I feel about disgruntled cop. I didn't think House was overly rude to him in the exam room. He was brusque, yeah, but he wasn't horrible. I don't know why the guy felt the need to work up a vendetta against House, unless he's been approached by other people and is working on their behalf, or something.

I don't know why they feel like House needs a nemesis. He's interesting enough, and has enough people to work off of. He doesn't need added people who are simply there to challenge him. I'm hoping this is a short arc.

Poor Wilson. I guess cancer girl left for Europe or died or something, and he's back in a hotel room. Although, dude, you're a doctor. I'm pretty sure you could afford a nice place to live.

Well, you're a doctor with three alimonies, so maybe not.

Any thoughts? Those of you who watch either of these shows?

The thing is, House did the thermometer bit *after* Cop Guy challenged him and tried to bully him back - it was revenge for CG knocking his cane away and generally getting in his face.

(It was totally wrong to do that to CG, mind you, but CG had clearly already taken Mortal Offense even before it happened.)

If a doctor talked to you, the way House talked to CopGuy, wouldn't you be pissed? Yes, CG probably had a chip on his shoulder, but so does House. I'm not saying CG had a right to trip House, but I am saying that House did, and always does, start it.

Yeah, I probably would be, and yeah, House did start it by being "brusque." I just felt that Charliesmum was saying, and I agree, that CG was pretty touchy back. As you say, he had a chip on his shoulder too, so the conflict escalated until it got really ugly.

(It also influences my perspective that I've seen the 999 things he's done that are worse, I bet - Cop Guy hasn't, so he doesn't know he's "gotten off lightly" compared to the truly spectacular rudeness House is capable of. Which House then treats him to a demonstration of, of course....)

I agree. I think both men were just as rude as each other in the initial scenario, but I think that House definitely started it. I've said this in another thread today already, but I'll say it again: I love the character, but I would hate it if House were my doctor. He can be really, really horrible sometimes. Fair enough, occasionally he isn't, but patients don't usually get to see his introspective moments (which generally happen around as few people as possible). He may know more than the patient--and more than most doctors, apparently!--but that doesn't give him the right to treat people like crap.
