Got this from [livejournal.com profile] brownkitty

If you are reading this, ask me four questions-- any four, no matter how personal, private, or absurd. I will try to answer them honestly, or if I can't be honest, I'll try to be funny. In turn, you have to post this message in your own journal and you have to answer the questions that are asked of you.

Hope everyone who had it enjoyed their holiday weekend.

1)Where would you want to live if you could live anywhere? Fictional places included.
For various reasons, I've always wanted to live in the UK, doesn't matter where, just somewhere in the UK.

2)Is there someone you wish you hadn't lost contact with?

Several people. I'd quite like to find my friend Christa Bedrin. She and I were BFF when we were in Junior High, and then she moved to California, and I visited her there one summer, and we kept in touch all through High School, but then we drifted away, and I don't know where she got to.

3)If you could have your dream job, what would it be?
Actor on a soap opera or a writer.

4)What's your favorite kind of weather and why?
Autumn. I love the cooler weather, and the way the trees look, and I always feel that anything can happen - it feels like the start of something, which is weird, I know. Left over 'back to school' things, I guess.

(1) What was the first sentence of your LJ entry dated November 27, 2005?

(2) If you could go back and change one decision that you've made in your life, what decision would it be?

(3) If you could invent a holiday, what would it be called and what would it be for?

(4) Chocolate, vanilla or strawberry?

1. First entry: I'm thinking about doing the personalized card thingy they are offering on Shutterfly.com - it's a bit expensive, so I may just go with the cards I bought last year half price and be done with it, but in case I don't, I want to get some opinions on which photo I should use.

2. Funny you should ask that, because that is very similar to a question I asked [livejournal.com profile] brownkitty. Many times I wish I'd taken more of a risk after I graduated college, gone to California or the UK or something, tried to be an actress. Ultimately though, I think there are too many things I'd miss if I changed things, so I guess I'd stick with what I have.

3. Empathy Day. Everyone would spend the day trying to understand someone else.

4. Chocolate. Without a doubt.

1 - What was the first thing you thought when you found out that you got pregeant?

2 - What is the most used curse word that you said?

3 - Any pet peeves that you do that drives the hubby nuts? (example - my mom spends time washing the blinds. She gets a q-tip and cleans light switches...that kind of thing)

4 - Ever wished you had a girl

1 - What was the first thing you thought when you found out that you got pregeant? - Hooray!

I'd been trying for over a year. My schedule has always been wacky, and it turns out it is because I don't ovulate regularly, so I'd had many times of thinking I was pregnant and being disappointed. By the time I did get pregnant, I was so afraid of being disappointed again, I kept putting off taking the test, so by the time I did I was over 2 months along.

Hooray doesn't really cover the joy I felt, but it's the closest word I could think of.

2 - What is the most used curse word that you said?
I say 'bugger' most frequently.

3 - Any pet peeves that you do that drives the hubby nuts? (example - my mom spends time washing the blinds. She gets a q-tip and cleans light switches...that kind of thing)
I'm sure there are many, but since they aren't peeves to me, I can't say what they are. I imagine he'd say I nag him too much.

4 - Ever wished you had a girl
Not really. Before I knew Charlie was a boy, I was hoping for a girl, but now I can't imagine having a daughter. Sometimes around the holidays I think it would be nice to buy the pretty dresses, but mostly I like being the mommy of a son.
