Yay! I'm Princess Leia!

Gakked this from carlanime (and I still don't know the origin of the word 'gak'. Can anyone enlighten me?

I was ten when Star Wars came out. I thought Princess Leia was the coolest girl ever. She was so strong and sarcastic and brave and stuff. And she has brown hair and brown eyes, and was short, just like me! When I was in the 8th grade I was 5 feet tall, and then I read Carrie Fisher was 5 feet tall, and I was glad, so naturally I grew like three inches that year.

I have a cold. Has anyone noticed that when you do something stressful like starting a new job you get a cold? Seems to happen to me every time.

Oh! I saw a deer today! It was by the side of the road as I was leaving work to go to lunch. It was very cool.

Yesterday Charlie wrote down the names of all his soft toys and their birthdates. He gives them birthdays. Here's the list, cause I'm him mom and like to torture people with his cuteness: (all in his spelling)

I've named every single stuffed animal that I've ever gotten. I've named other things too.

I was two when Return of the Jedi came out. The first time. I actually remember going to see it.

There's something incredibly cute about a child who makes lists. That's even cuter than his naming the stuffed animals.

Haven't read Going Postal yet. A friend of mine cleverly bought it for me for Christmas, very enthusiastic because he'd realized I didn't have it yet, so now I don't have it, but also can't buy it. :)
