Have you guys seen Castle yet? You totally have to watch that show. It is just so funny and good, and gets better every week. It isn't original, really (He's a writer! She's a cop! And they fight crime!) but the characters are so appealing and charming and the chemistry is fabulous and it stars Nathan Fillion. What more could you want? Go watch it. Seriously. I'll wait.
Meanwhile, on House. Who else thinks that 'Thirteen' is totally The Wesley?
I've been watching Cougar Town, and I rather like it. I'm not sure how long the premise can hold up, but it's well done and amusing, and I like it.
I like Glee, too, but I find myself DVRing it and then watching it when I've nothing else to do. Ditto with Bones.
Oh, and who else watches The Big Bang Theory? Seems all my best shows are on Monday - How I Met Your Mother, House, Big Bang Theory and Castle. Thank goodness they don't all crash into each other.
Charlie loves iCarly right now. I don't know why.
So, what about you? Any new shows you like? British friends, anything I should be keeping my eyes out for? (BBC America did show Being Human, at least)

on 2009-10-14 02:13 am (UTC)Have you seen Lie To Me? I also caught that for the first time last night and liked it a lot. I <3 Tim Roth. Unfortunately, next week's show looks super melodramatic.
Otherwise, I can't rave enough about Psych. I don't watch much else these days -- Warcraft trumps tv, most nights.

on 2009-10-14 08:29 am (UTC)It hasn't reached my little corner of Britland yet, but I've told the pooter to record it when it gets here :-)
Currently we're watching Sanctuary (S2 started here this week, FlashForward, True Blood (just seen the pilots for both those) Season 2 of Chuck (about 3 episodes left) and the new version of Knight Rider (which is better than I expected).
There's a new series of the Sarah Jane Adventures starting very soon and apparently a certain blue box and its owner will be popping in for a visit...

on 2009-10-14 12:12 pm (UTC)I love Bones, and House. My true guilty pleasure is the Ghost Whisperer. It's soooooo bad, and sooooo cheesy and I just love it.
I actually like 13 and don't think she's a Wesley, but I can see how some might think she is.
Oh, and Lie to Me and Fringe!

on 2009-10-14 08:39 pm (UTC)My Mondays are very DVR heavy with How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Accidentally on Purpose (cute and fluffy but also wondering about how long the premise can continue), House, Two and a half Men...
I'm also liking FlashForward! :)

on 2009-10-15 01:41 am (UTC)I didn't realize they were actually putting out a "Rick Castle novel". But I have to admit I'm tempted to read it.
Otherwise, I have to admit I'm not watching much. We've got all this season's episodes of House on DVR but I still haven't finished last season. Matt is really enjoying the Super Hero Squad, which might be a bit young for Charlie but is really silly fun. Plus there are some references for parents (and others) to get too.
