I'm completely knackered. (to put it in the British vernacular, as I am wont to do.) We went trick-or-treating from about 2:30 to 5pm. That's a long time. Even Charlie was getting tired by the end and kept saying 'that's enough trick-or-treating!' which didn't stop him from continuing to get candy however whenever we came to a house that was giving it out. He made a very cute Spiderman, and I will post photos as soon as I get them printed and on a disk.

Got to see lots of the neighborhood. That's always fun. And if one goes by lawn signs and bumper stickers, the entire population of West Collingswood is voting for Kerry. So that's nice.

Charlie got all kinds of good candy, too. Did you know that Toll House Cookies has a candy bar? I haven't opened it yet, but it seems to be a cookie dough type of a candy bar. All I can say is 'yum' and I hope Charlie doesn't notice when I eat it.

Does anyone else feel ripped off when, at the end of a horror movie after the bad thing is defeated and the hero and his girl trot off into the dawn, the monster returns? That pisses me off. Why would I want to sit through a whole story to see the good guy win, if the good guy doesn't win? Shock value is all well and good, I suppose, but I always feel cheated.

Anyway, Happy Halloween everyone!
