Bits and bobs and a very serious topic

For anyone dying of curiousity, here are the answers to the movie meme that weren't answered in the last post. Number 1 - Character A – It’s not fair
Character B – You say that so often, I wonder what your basis for comparison is Is from Labyrinth.
Number 6. I always thought it was a ridiculous name for a prison. Sing Sing, I mean. Sounds more like it should be an opera house or something. Is from Breakfast at Tiffanys
Number 7. If I were creating the world I wouldn't mess about with butterflies and daffodils. I would have started with lasers, eight o'clock, Day One! Is from Time Bandits. Great movie. John Cleese and Michael Palin are in it. Very Prachettian, for those of you who are Discworld fans.
Number 10. I'm not deprived; I'm delinquent. There's a difference, you know. Candleshoe. Disney movie in the 70's - the golden age of live action Disney movies, in my own opinion.
Number 11. I am Ergo the magnificent. Short in stature, tall in power, narrow of purpose and wide of vision - Krull. Really silly fantasy movie, but I enjoyed it because of it's badness.
Fox channel has decided not to accept some commercial for the Super Bowl because Micky Rooney shows his bum. They say it is in bad taste. This from a channel that ran "Who's Your Daddy", mind. The entertainment industry is getting more and more hyprocritical every day.
And finally, I could use some advice. I have a friend who is married to a man I never much liked. He was, I felt, beneath her. He was very "Poor White Trash" to use the un-PC term. I figured though that it wasn't my business, and my mother feels the same about my husband, so who am I to judge, right. All I hoped for her is that her husband realised how lucky he was to have her. All she ever wanted from a man is for him to love her. That is all she asked.
She did everything for this man. She would make all his meals, even when a logical woman would expect him to be able to make his own damn sandwich. She never asks him to help with the children because he doesn't want to help with the children. She deferred to him in everything, she never denied him anything. He wants a boat, they get a boat, even though they can't afford it. He wants a motorcycle, he gets a motorcycle. You get the picture, right?
She is a really, really nice person. She reached out to his first wife (my friend is his 3rd) and his adult, drug addicted son, and sent money to them when they needed it. She put up with is family, even when his sister hurled racial slurs at her (my friend's mother is Hispanic in origin) and forgave and forgave and forgave.
My friend went to the doctor yesterday and found out she has an (thankfully mild and curable) STD.
I'm horrified at the betrayal, and the manner in which she found out. He is denying any wrong-doing, which is astounding, considering the STD she has is Trichomoniasis one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases and A common misbelief is that infection can be spread by a toilet seat; this isn't likely, since the parasite cannot live long in the environment or on objects.
I really hate this guy. The Dalai Lama say to 'develop compassion for your enemies' but that's bloody hard to do in this case.
So my question. What should she do? What would you do? What should I say? I need to tread lightly because I won't be at all surprised if she forgives him.
