Yay! Day off

So explain to me why I was still awake at 6:30, even though I could've slept in. No matter, though. I've things I need to do today, and now I have more time in which to do them.

I feel a bit guilty - I'm going off to spend money on things for Charlie's birthday, and, as I don't have much money to spare, a part of me feels guilty for not sending that money to the hurrican victims instead. But how would one explain that to a child? It's times like this I truly understand what the expression 'the road to hell is paved with good intentions' means.

At any rate, I need to go get some final things for the party, most importantly food, as well as party favours and so forth.
