charliesmumJust want to whine quickly. I'm hosting the bookclub tonight, as I said, and I am now convinced no one is going to come. I had a couple last minute cancellations, and that just doesn't bode well, especially since on one email she asked someone else if a third person 'still wanted to go' since the original person wasn't going. That sort of thing just leads to a domino effect.
Thing is, no one ever wants to come out here to Collingswood. The majority of the people in the book club live in Cherry Hill/Marlton, and Collingswood is just totally off their radar screen. One time before I hosted and the only one to show up was my friend Kathryn.
So I just am sure no one is going to come. I had expected maybe 7, because like I said no one ever wants to come out this way, and it's rainy and blergh. Call the waaamulance.
I don't even know if I should bother cutting up the stupid pound cake I bought.
Oh well. I feel better for ranting. Sort of.
