charliesmumHave you ever been in the shower and you think of something and say to yourself, 'oh, I'll have to put that in my EL-Jay!' but by the time you get to your computer you've forgotten it?
At any rate...I have this 1930's Hoosier that I was thinking of selling, because I quite desperately need the money, so I put an add on craigslist. Here's the hoosier:
I got one reply where the guy was going to give me $1,500, but it was really an odd sort of email, and ultimately my husband came to the conclusion that it was some sort of scam, though I'll be darned if I can figure out how he'd make money with it, but whatever.
Then I got a reply that seems more legit, but she said she thought the $1,500 was a bit high, and will give me $500. Someone had once said she'd pay $1,500 for mine, so I thought it was reasonable, but I did a quick Google, and it seems that $500 is reasonable, but I don't know if I want to part with it for that. $500 will help, but not as much as I would have hoped.
Sigh.
What do you think? Should I take the $500 or hold out for more?
