When you wish upon a star...

charliesmumSo, there's this airline called Spirit that flies out of Atlantic City. My mom sent me this thing - they had a promotion where you could fly out for $7.00. That's right. $7.00. So, I checked it out, the end result is that Charlie and I are going to visit my friend in Tampa on December 9 for a few days, for a grand total of $223.20 round trip, two tickets.
Pretty cool, huh?
We'll stay with my friend, and, coincidentally her parents, who have an apartment thing in their house, will be away, so we'll be able to stay there, practically a hotel room.
We'll probably go to Disney World. I'm going to look into getting the special pass so we don't have to wait in lines. Charlie doesn't deal well with crowds and there's no way there won't be long lines. My SIL and BIL did that with their Autistic daughter - they said it was great. And, really, so many things are harder for Autistic kids, why not take advantage of something that makes life a little bit easier?
So, I'm pretty excited. I haven't seen my friend in ages; haven't even met her little boy, so it will be nice.
Oh, in other news, I spent $15.00 (yes, I'm a spendthrift recently, it seems) on this tape adapter thingy so I can listen to my iPod in the car. Totally worth it. Especially since I had to drive to Newark today. In the pouring rain. The iPod kept me sane and relatively happy.
