charliesmumOur "Bertram" dropped out of the play. We are now down 3 male actors, including the lead. Not. Good.
My money and my debit card were somehow stolen from my purse, most likely when I was at Holihans at the Cherry Hill Mall last night. Not sure if someone cleverly lifted it from me - I'm extremely careful with my purse, having been robbed from already several times in my life - or it fell out of my purse somehow and someone took the opportunity.
The opportunity being to trot right to Abercrombie and Fich and charging $613.54 to my card. The most ironic thing is we don't have any money in the account so it is REALLY frustrating the card wasn't declined. I guess when you do it as a 'VISA' instead of a debit it goes through.
I did cancel the card, let the bank know already that the charge isn't mine, and called the store to let them know what happened. Thanks to the manager, was able to actually pinpoint the time it happened - he printed out the audit, and I'm going to file a report tomorrow. Odds on they will never catch the person, but they do have CCTV, and we know the exact time of the transaction, so you never know.
I hope the police appreciate I did much of the detective work for them. All they have to do is go to the store and pick up all the info.
However, in happier news, I made it to the next round in my application to become a part of the South Jersey Ghost Research team.
I have an interview on April 25th. With any luck I'll soon be spending a few nights a month sitting in a darkened room with a recorder and an infrared camera saying things like, "Is anyone here with us?"
