The Play's The Thing

I think much of my angst about the RL defriending stems from the good ol' childhood trauma of not having friends, and trying too hard to be popular. I'd try so hard to get the kids to like me, trying to be what I thought was the nicest person possible - giving out my pencils and so forth, and wound up being treated with distain.
Anyway, on to better things.
Our show opens tonight. We are in a non-airconditioned hall, and it is going to be one million degrees today, but hopeflly people will still show up.
I'm Diana tonight and Sunday, and tomorrow I'm in the minor role of Mariana, something that was tossed to us Dianas at the last minute, so hopefully I'm good on the lines!
It's come together nicely, the costumes are FABULOUS, and it all seems to work. I wish you all could come see it.
I'll try to get photos anyway.
More later. Time to take the Charlie to school.
By the way, he's up to 56 four-leaf clovers.
