Wanna go home now...

So today is the 25th of May, which means nothing to anyone who hasn't read/loved Terry Pratchett's book Night Watch, but I am enjoying using my Lilac icon and seeing all the other people that have something similar. It's one of the things I love about the interweb. We're honoring the memory of something that is entirely fictional. Go us.

I am also enjoying reading people's synopsis of the Star Wars movies. Some of the comments people make are so funny I know if I ever do go see the movie, I'll be giggling the whole time just remembering them.

My friend gave me this cute candy bowl shaped like a pig (I collect pig things) and we were talking about her collection - cows, and she said she heard somewhere that a person will either mention a cow or hear/see the word cow at least once a day. And this morning when I woke up there was a commercial on the radio for some dairy or something, and sure enough they mentioned a cow. And anyone who is reading this has just seen the word cow, so I think there must be something to it.

Right. Back to work.

Isn't the cow thing known as 'perceptual set' in psychology? Kind of like if you're pregnant you seem to see pregnant women everywhere? I could be wrong-I got that O' level many moons ago :)
