Jon Stewart made a MILF joke on Daily Show the other day, and I was reminded of a story my friend told me by a very young co-worker of hers that she was a MILF, and she didn't know what it was, and neither did I, and we had a good laugh when we found out. She really is a MILF. Me...not so much.
Maybe 10 years ago I would be. (despite the fact I wasn't a mother 10 years ago) but I think I'm too flabby at this point to inspire lust in anyone under the age of 35.
Ahem. Anyway...
I'm going to Dave and Busters tonight. It's very nice -I'm being taken out for my birthday, which isn't until Tuesday, but no law saying I can't celebrate the day before, right?
D&B is an interesting place - when I worked for PricewaterhouseCooper ages ago, we used to hold a dinner there for each training group, since they had come into Philly from all over the world. I would go and sometimes bring Charlie, who was around 2 1/2 at the time.
Let me tell you; you won't know the meaning of the word fear until you are standing in the middle of a crowded resturant/arcade hall and have lost your 2 1/2 Autistic son who doesn't speak. The people who worked there were fabulous though - they sent every person out on the floor and just combed the place until he was found.
Come on, 5 o'clock. I wanna go home!
