Waiting out the clock...
Jul. 3rd, 2008 02:09 pmI'm getting out of work today at 3. Hurrah. Also to be hurrah'd is the fact that I was fairly busy this morning, so it didn't drag.
Now, however, I've nothing to do, and am leaving soon, so don't really want to do anything.
Hence this post of nothingness.
I'm sure you've all seen that book meme thing that's been going around. I haven't done it, because doing all the bold/italic thing takes forever, and I always manage to mess it up.
I did read through the list though, and would like to state for the record, I've read 47 of the books. More if you count the series that are listed that I didn't read all of - I never read all the Narnia books, for example. I also didn't count the bible, because, while I've flipped through it, I can't say I've sat down to read it, ever.
Oh, speaking of bibles, Charlie's day camp is doing bible school next week. This doesn't bother me as much as the fact that they are using Veggie Tales. I hate Veggie Tales. Not because they are 'Christian' but because they are flippin' vegetables!
I mean, really. Vegetables? I'm not a fan of anthropomorphized things in the first place, and talking food just really bothers me.
I'm hoping
crossbow1 is having a good day today. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for her.
And that's all I've got.
