DC Comics is resurrecting the classic comic book character as a lesbian

"We decided to give her a different point of view," explained Dan DiDio, vice president and executive editor at DC. "We wanted to make her a more unique personality than others in the Bat-family."

Dude, Batman and Robin are so totally a couple. having a straight person in the 'Bat-family' would be 'more unique'.

And now we can have a Xena/Batwoman crossover romance. Or death match. Whatever.

As long as Batwoman remembers that Wonder Woman is into bondage. Which, according to these DC covers, she totally is. (I hardly remember a cover of Wonder Woman where she WASN'T tied up, shackled, chained, etc.)

And oh, yeah. Batman and Robin are totally gay. Artists have been drawing them as gay in frames and covers for YEARS. Don't blame me for this. Blame the comics industry...

One of the articles I read about this quoted a blogger, who said if the comic book heros really want to diversify, they will make a fat woman and an ugly man heroes too. :) I thought he/she had a very good point.
